On April 1, 1997, we first met Ash Ketchum, and we rode with him through all these years until he finally became a Pokémon Master 26 years later. Now it’s time to say goodbye; the final episode starring Ash will air on March 24 in Japan, and it will be the last time we see him as the protagonist of the Pokémon series.
At least we had the pleasure of watching him achieve his life’s goal with the dream team. Undoubtedly, our lives were joyful thanks to all these years of adventuring with them both.
Where to watch Ash Ketchum’s final episode?
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to enjoy it quite yet in the USA since Japan will broadcast it first on March 24, but no English subtitles will be available yet.
The last episode will be available to watch on Netflix (USA) around mid-May 2023. You better watch out for spoilers since you will probably find some on Youtube and TikTok Pokémon videos. Those are usually quickly taken down, but you never know.
What do we know so far about the episode?
The final episode is titled “Rainbow and the Pokémon master.” According to the synopsis that was released on a Japanese TV guide, we have a little peck of it. Ash will return to Pallet Town and reunite with Gary Oak. They will look at their journeys and how Ash feels after finally winning the championship.
How do you feel about the end of an era?
We are certainly going to miss you, Ash! But, our memories together will forever live.
We know that waiting to see the grand series finale will get you anxious, but some things can help you wait for the new Pokemon episode (and the last one with Ash) to go live. You can become a Pokémon Master with Pokemon Games (like Pokemon Go).
