Fifteen years ago, Electronic Arts presented a perfect product for horror fans in its catalog. Pulses were racing while we explored the USG Ishimura to find out what had happened to the crew. This year, Dead Space gives us a new and improved dose of horror and science fiction, this time through Motive Studio.

This time there will be some exciting changes that everyone is talking about.

What are the changes that the Dead Space Remake will have?

Dead Space Remake is certainly intended to delight fans of the original game. However, it is also designed to welcome new gamers, thanks to the changes implemented.

Dead Space has been completely graphically redesigned to take advantage of the latest technological contributions. The developers have added a lot of dynamic lighting, detailed special effects, and better textures, as we like.

Quality mode runs at 4K/30fps with ray tracing enabled, while Performance mode runs at a constant 60fps at 2K without ray tracing. The good news is that you can switch from one mode to another on the game without returning to the main menu.

This incredible video game also has a very complex system for the sound of the main character. The system is called A.L.I.V.E. (for its acronym: adrenaline, response of the limbic system, intelligent dialogue, vitals, and respiratory efforts). Thus, these elements will directly affect the behavior of the character. Thanks to this system, you will hear differences when he breathes or speaks.

So, are you ready to experience one of the most intense gaming experiences of your life?

What is the first Dead Space about?

Dead Space is a survival-horror video game series published by Electronic Arts. The series follows Isaac Clarke as he battles hordes of deadly creatures known as Necromorphs. The games are known for their intense atmosphere, horror elements, and focus on combat and resource management. The first game was released in 2008 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

Spoilers Alert!

If you haven’t played Dead Space yet, be careful! Because here we have spoilers about it!

The plot of the Dead Space series centers around the character of Isaac Clarke. He is an engineer sent to investigate a distress signal from a mining spaceship called the USG Ishimura.

Upon arriving, Clarke discovers that the ship and its crew have been overrun by a deadly alien species called Necromorphs. These are reanimated corpses that have been mutated into monstrous creatures.

Clarke fights to survive and uncover the truth behind the Necromorph outbreak. which is revealed to be the result of an ancient alien artifact known as the Marker.

The Marker has the ability to reanimate dead tissue and has been worshipped as a religious object by a cult called the Unitologists. So, Clarke is forced to confront the Unitologists. This group believes that Necromorphs are the next stage of human evolution. They also seek to spread the outbreak to other planets.

As the series progresses, Clarke’s encounters with the Marker and Necromorphs cause him to suffer from hallucinations and mental deterioration. These disorders lead him to question his own sanity and the reality of the situation.

The series also explores interesting issues. The most important topics in this game are religion and the consequences of scientific experimentation.
